We just had our second Sunday working session with good energy 💫 and good company 👯♀️!
Weekly meetings are a great way to work 🖇 collaboratively, share 📒 information and foster our community 💌. If you’d like to become more involved in the process, you can join us any Sunday at NieuwLand (except the dates specified below) between 12:00-13:00 for brunch and updates, and 13:00-16:00 for workgroups and workshops.
You’re all kindly invited to some special moments in the upcoming weeks:
- Finances 💰: “what is money 💸 and how do we get it? 🤑” Sunday 31 March, 13:00-17:00 – excursion at De Groene Gemeenschap (Barkasstraat 7). On this day we will brainstorm and research potential funders. We will also be given a workshop by De Groene Gemeenschap, so it is two activities for the time of one!
- Statutes: 📖 “getting the legal structure right” ✍️ Sunday 7 April @ NieuwLand. In this meeting, various forms of coop membership will be presented and we will discuss our preferences for dNM. A historic day to shape the character of our project!
- Party!!! 💃 Benefit dinner 🥣 and “soult and the peppers” concert 🥁 Thursday 4 April 19:00 @ Joe’s Garage (Pretoriusstraat 43). A great way to get (re)acquainted with the community, hear the latest developments, and contribute to our early expenses while feasting and dancing! [Facebook event]
- Hands-on 🙌: Co-designing co-living 🏣 Sunday 14 April 13:00-17:00 [Location TBC]. A workshop facilitated by our architects to harvest the expectations of future inhabitants. Our collective dream house will start taking shape already on this very special day!
