Open co-design workshop!

On Sunday 14 April, de Nieuwe Meent invites you to…

co-design the postcapitalist urban commune of your wildest dreams!

🏰⛲️🏯

This workshop is intended for everyone interested in co-living projects. If you have ever lived in co-housing before, or if you ever fancied living in one in the future, this event is for you! No prior involvement or future commitment in dNM is expected. All ages welcome! For this special day, we exceptionally meet at Borneo Architectuur Centrum Amsterdam (RJH Fortuynplein 4).

Just think about the following questions 🎗

  1. What is your favourite place in Amsterdam? In your neighbourhood? In your building? In your house?
  2. Describe your perfect day in your ideal co-living/post-capitalist/amazing/community building from dusk till dawn.

Agenda 🗓

  • 12:00 — doors open
  • 13:00 — dNM meeting
  • 14:00 — workshop with Jesús Rosales Carreón, researcher in Energy & Resources at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development
  • 15:00 — workshop with our very own NVZ Architects

In the other news…

Last Thursday, we hosted a benefit dinner at Joe’s Garage. More than 50 people enjoyed the delicious meal and heard about our project. We distributed our brand-new brochure, so feel free to spread it as well! We raised a solid donation and we are already planning the next benefit event. If you can’t wait until then, you can always join us at NieuwLand on Sundays — brunch at noon or drinks at 5pm! Check our shared calendar for updates.

See you one of these Sundays?

Cheers,
De Nieuwe Meent crew.
